- Seams - 1.line along 2 edges join or sewn together. E.g: mom sew the torn seams down the side of his trousers. 2.bursting or bulging at the seams mean to be very full. E.g: their house are bulging at the seams already.
- Vie - to compete eagerly with sb for sth. E.g: The children are vying for their mother's attention.
- Pews - long seats with back that place in church.Everybody is seated on the pews in the church.
- Congregated - to come together in a crowd. E.g: a crowd quickly congregated the mall.
- Stride - 1.walk with long step in specified direction. E.g :the lad strode across the field. 2.way of walking by taking long regular steps. E.g: he walked in front of me and interrupted my stride. 3.thing that make progress toward an aim. E.g: great stride had been made toward world peace.
- Prowess - outstanding skill or ability. E.g: we admire his prowess as an oarsman.
